First, I received an email to tell me to update this, for me this immediately raised the question was this “fishing”? eMarketer reported today that smartphone purchasing is rapidly growing, similar way as reported yesterday on Dutch statistics. Basically purchasing is coming directly from consumers their home base. Nearly three-quarters of smartphone buyers in France make purchases via their device while out and about, May 2016 research from Médiamétrie uncovered. And almost as many respondents (65%) said they do so while at home. – See more at
One in five Dutch consumers who shop online used their smartphone to order something online at least once during the third quarter of this year. This means 2.17 million Dutch shopped online via their smartphone. One year ago, 14 percent of the Dutch online shoppers used their smartphone for ordering something online.
